No. 3.6: So What Is Next?
Well I am still trying to figure that part out. I make it a point to take advantage of the resources that I currently have in order to boost my resume. Within the opportunities provided in my regular 9 to 5, I attend training opportunities or ensure I am aligning my skills with those that are required for working in the field of historic preservation.I currently have a historic preservation project that I am looking forward to seeing its progression over the next few months. It has already been a bit of an adventure.
I still stay tuned to any free webinars. I will occasionally dig through the endless videos on YouTube for any historic preservation related videos. I will soon be brushing the dust off of my resume to update my experience and skills. Then when the time comes I will at least feel like I am ready for the next phase of my career. Whether or not I will be ready, I don’t know.
Lastly I will continue Preservation In Color, of course. I have been brainstorming what to post or discuss over the next six months. I have let go of putting pressure on myself to produce content. I am focused on letting my creativity flow naturally and genuinely. I set the goal to do some more networking via social media.
That is it for now. Preservation month has come to an end. Thank you for sharing my journey to preservation thus far. I look forward to what is to come next!!
