Thomas Memorial AME Zion Church One of New York’s “Seven to Save”

For the past few months I have been working with a group of preservation experts who are local to the North Country, New York Area. We have been discussing preliminary planning efforts as a means to advocate for the preservation of the Thomas Memorial AME Zion Church. Well we have made some strides. The one that I am most excited to share is that the church made the Preservation League of NYS 2022-2023 “Seven to Save” at-risk historic sites! For the next two years we will be working with the Preservation League of NYS to develop ways we can continue to advocate for the preservation of the church. Oh and by the way. We officially have a committee name. We decided to call ourselves the Friends of Thomas Memorial!
